On the 19th July you should dig out that old bike and do your bit for charity while taking in some of the spectacular Norfolk countryside. It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned cyclist or a fair-weather commuter, this non-competitive charity event is a great chance to get some fresh air and raise funds for Big C, Norfolk and Waveney’s Cancer Charity.
You don’t have to ride a fancy bike or be a super cyclist to join in the fun! Last year there were plenty of people riding their ‘ordinary’ bikes – and there was even had a fully fledged shopper in the mix! It’s a really fun event with food available in the event village at Blickling Hall. For those of you who want to join in with the fun but don’t want to ride, there will be discounted rates to the Blicking Hall and gardens available on the day.
There are 25-, 50- and 75-mile routes available and they all take in this spectacular part of Norfolk. And, because it’s not a race, feel free to stop along the route to take plenty of photos.
Last year the Cozens-Hardy Cycle Ride raised more than £1000 for Big C. We hope this year will smash that so sign up here.
It costs £20 to enter but you get the choice of route, a goodie bag full of useful items, free energy drink refills, mechanical/medical support, and chip timing too. Not to mention the fact that £3 from every entry goes to the charity!
