I like trying new things so I jumped at the chance to attend a pole dancing class with Jane of The Fitness Studios in Kings Lynn. I turned up to the class a little nervous, I consider myself fairly fit but my upper body strength leaves something to be desired.


The class was so much fun, I could barely do any of the moves but Jane told us that’s how pretty much everyone starts pole dancing and it only takes a few lessons before you build some strength and get the basics down.

Pole dancing is great way to build your strength and flexibility while improving coordination. It’s also amazing how great it makes you feel. Even if you’re not very good (like me), it makes you feel powerful and sexy.


The Fitness Studios also offer personal training sessions, various different classes and there are aerial hoop classes coming soon! (Which I want to try, as you can see the look of glee on my face in the photo above.)
