There are a couple of places I visit regularly on my lunch breaks now that I have an office in the city. Moorish Falafel bar Norwich on Lower Goat Lane is one of them. You can eat in and there’s a small seating area outside too. I, however, have a bit of a routine when it comes to this place. I order the same thing and always takeaway. It’s not that I’m boring, it’s just because I have found the most heavenly combination of flavours known to man.
I go for a Moorish pitta stuffed full of falafel, salad, guacamole and aubergine. It’s those little salty aubergines that make this the best thing in the world. I love the chilli sauce too but it can get quite spicy so it’s great washed down with a home made lemonade (the best in the city).
They also offer salad boxes, amazing sweet treats (including baklava) and coffee too. So if you’re looking for something tasty for lunch, pop into Moorish – I promise you won’t be disappointed!
