You probably already know a bit about Pensthorpe from seeing it on the popular BBC Springwatch programme. Situated just a mile from Fakenham, the nature reserve is full of activity all year round.
For the summer there is really so much to do, including family fun days, wildlife tracking, duck feeding, bug sculptures to find and the fantastic Discovery Tour where you’ll find out all about the history of Pensthorpe.
Kids and adults will all learn so much from a day out at Pensthorpe, and it really is a full day out. There’s a lovely café serving drinks, snacks and home cooked meals too. There are also special events at the reserve throughout the year – coming up is a local produce market and a Mediaeval Spectacular.
For an entire day of fun Pensthorpe Nature Reserve is really reasonably priced (you can use Tesco vouchers off the price of admission to the reserve plus you can usually find Pensthorpe vouchers online) and a great day out for all the family.
